William T. Mahoney, affectionately known as Bill, passed away on February 3, 2026. He was born on May 6, 1960.

Bill is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy Mahoney, and his siblings: Edward Mahoney, Michael Mahoney (Charlotte), James Mahoney, Joseph Mahoney (Sharon), Paul Mahoney (Gail), Robert Mahoney (Rhonda), Matthew Mahoney (Renee), and Patrick Mahoney (Kathy).

He was predeceased by his father, Edward Mahoney; his brother, John Mahoney; and his nephew, James Mahoney.

Bill was a graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1978. He was a longtime member of the Rockland Knights of Columbus and the Rockland Eagles, organizations in which he took great pride and enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow members.

Bill will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 7, 2026 at 9:30 am in the Our Lady of Angels Parish (St. Mary of the Sacred Heart) in Hanover.
