Obituary For William Peter Biggins

William Peter Biggins was born in the evening on June 16, 2017 and, held in his mother's arms, passed to the Lord the next morning. He is survived by his parents, Gretchen and Tom Biggins of Sudbury, MA, who, thanks to the answered prayers of many, were able to see with their own eyes the son they had sensed, felt kick, and watched grow in-utero, display his vibrance, fight, and love for life in our world.

William met and was much loved by his 5 siblings, Abby (8), Samantha (7), Tommy (5), Ben (4), and Andrew (2), who together sang songs and prayers to him each night since learning of his prognosis at Christmas last year, and his grandparents, Donna and Tom Biggins, and Sandy Bell, all of Sudbury, and Joe Bernard of Tewksbury, MA. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Sandy's late-husband, Walter Bell. William was the Great Grandson of Thomas J. Biggins, III and his wife Doris of Toms River, NJ. William will be buried in a baptismal gown made from his mother's wedding dress. He will be laid to rest with Grandpa Wally and we pray they will share in salvation above.

He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Erin and Trevor Bell of Acton, MA, Mary Biggins of New York, NY, Meghan and Sean McLoughlin of Belmont, MA, Kathy and Devin O'Leary of Belmont, MA, Luke Biggins of Maynard, MA and his girlfriend Nora Donahue of Northborough, MA, Michael Biggins of Worcester, MA and his girlfriend Amy Casey, also of Worcester, Katy Hulette of Falls Church, VA and his Godfather, namesake, and uncle, William Kenney and his Godmother and aunt, Bridget Kenney of Westborough, MA, along with his cousins Charlie Bell, Michael and Caroline Kenney, Matthew O'Leary, and Owen McLoughlin.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 24th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Sudbury, MA, with a reception to follow. Children are welcome at both the Funeral Mass and reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Quinn Madeleine Foundation (www.quinnmadeleine.org), dedicated to serving terminally ill children.
