I am so very sorry to learn of this great loss to his family and all his friends. I am saddened knowing I will never see those twinkling blue eyes and grand smile as he tells a joke or tale as only Billy can do. As a young attorney in the Roxbury District Court, where he worked for 43 years, I spent 3+ days a week with Billy for over 15 years. He was the very best to work with, and always went out of his way to make work a great place to be for everyone. He was a very dear friend to me, and his retirement didn't change that, although our 'hellos' were less frequent over the years. It is comforting to know he was so cherished and passed so peacefully in the loving arms of his family. God bless and protect you all. Lissa McKinney

I'm so sorry to hear of Billy's passing. I worked with him at Roxbury Court. He was always a gentleman - a big man with a big heart! Very knowledgeable in his job, and always quick with a great story. I'll never forget him or those beautiful blue eyes. Thank you for sharing that wonderful video. He was surrounded by love in every one of them. RIP Billy. Until we meet again.

I cannot express my sincere sadness over losing Kaz. What a gentleman! I hold dear so many memories and great times. We golfed together, played pool for fun and in a league and just enjoyed each other's company for so many years. Loved this man! So many great stories, jokes and laughs. I will think of him often, as I have the past few days after hearing of his passing. He certainly touched the lives of his family but please know he touched the lives of so many more. Rest In Peace, Willy. Much love!!

To the Kazanek family, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I have know him since I was a little kid. I used to be a spectator at the softball league. Later I was a teammate of his on the Championship Spring Street Bombers. Bill was a guy who always said can do. He would take on cooking for the Knights with vigor, whether it was spaghetti for 200 senior citizens or Steak and lobster for the Members clambake. Bill would always be the cheif chef! I am glad to say I got to have him in my life. I am proud to say I knew him. I am thankful to you all for sharing him with us.

Dear Mary, Joy and family, my condolences to you all. I have a Mission Hill connection to the Kaszanek family. My late husband and I met at Billy's mother and father's home. Joy is a lifelong friend. Billy worked with my husband Bobby at Roxbury Court. And the Kaszanek boys were my husband's heroes in the Mission Band. My prayers are for Billy, may he rest in the peace of the Lord. May the Kaszanek family have comfort and peace that Billy lived his life with the blessing of his saviour, Jesus Christ and your memories bring you comfort. God Bless and love and peace to all.
