Obituary For William H. Noble

William H. Noble, 88, of Rockland, MA passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2023

William was married to Anna M. Noble on May 4th of 1958 and on May 8th, 1958 was drafted into the United States Army.

Mr. Noble was born in South Berwick ME, but was raised in Hampton Falls NH.

William was an amazing big truck mechanic. He worked for Hallamore Corp in Holbrook, MA for many years. Working for Hallamore was his life.. He loved every moment working on those big Mack trucks... Until this day, the owner of Hallamore Corp has said that Billy has been the most brilliant truck mechanic they have ever had and was never able to be replaced. He also often would help out at friends garages including Lorraine Horse Transportation in Rockland, MA, Cervelli in Hanover, and many other places.

When not working or doing extra jobs fixing trucks at his friends garages, he would always take time to drive the Beech Hill crew with his daughter Carolyn to the Mall, movies, even though dad was a slow driver, we made it eventually. ha ha..

He also enjoyed taking road trips with his daughters to Disney World, Kings Dominion, all the New Hampshire attractions, and when the kids grew up, he would take his wife on trips to the Amish Country in PA, and South Dakota in his new Dodge Ram truck he’s always wanted and paid cash for it after he retired.

He is survived by his wife Anna M. Noble (Lauritzen) daughters Carolyn Servais (Noble) and husband Steven of Hanson, MA, Susan Deeb (Noble) and husband Anthony of Somerset, MA. Leona Long (Noble) of Cary, NC, his sister Beryl Marshall of Warwick, GA and her husband Freddy, His Brother Robert Noble of North Hampton, NH and his wife Betty. Maryanne Noble of Exeter, NH, and his grandchildren David Servais of Hanson, MA, Nicole Deeb of Somerset MA, Thomas and Julie Long of Cary, NC. and many nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by his daughter Cynthia Noble of Rockland, MA, brother Joseph Noble of Deland, FL and sister Elisa Noble of Deland, FL

Calling hours will be held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St, Rockland, MA, 02370 on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 11:00-12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Buzzards Bay, MA 02542.

A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM at the Rockland Golf Course 276 Plain St, Rockland, MA 02370. If you are unable to attend interment, family and friends are welcome to attend the celebration of life at 3pm.
