Dear Mom, I couldn't have asked for a nicer father-in-law. Dad was a true gentleman and a genuine person. If there is such a thing as a "perfect marriage," you and Dad had it. He fought the good fight and so did you. He will be forever in my thoughts and prayers and our beautiful memories will last a lifetime. Rest in peace, Dad. Love, Marilou

"Mr. Moore" was my 6th grade teacher in 1967 at Elden H. Johnson School - my first "man" teacher. I will always remember that my teacher attended the wake for my father when he died suddenly in April of that year. My teacher, big, burly man that I thought he was, walked into the funeral home and hugged 11 year old me.....his student. Thanks.

Ruthie and Family, I (Connie) shared many fun and memorable moments with my dear cousin, Billy, growing up in Weymouth and sharing our Grandma and Grandopa. Staying over at Aunt Mabel and Uncle Bill's was something we always looked forward to. Bill and I are sorry for your loss and will continue to keep you all in our prayers as we have in the past.

Bill: Your Dad was quite a man; intelligent, well rounded, and accomplished. His legacy lives on through you in your chosen profession. Please know that Em and I are in your corner.

Ruth and Family, We share in your loss and will keep all of you in our constant thoughts and prayers. We shared some wonderful opportunities to get to know Bill after his retirement from teaching and enjoyed having him and his gentle spirit in our presence for all too brief a period. Know that we are here for you today, tomorrow and well into the future.

I know this message is very late in coming, but I just this moment saw the page. Mr Moore was my sixth grade teacher at Johnson School during the 64-65 school year. He was one of the most gifted and thoughtful teachers I knew. He was especially supportive and helpful during a difficult time for me. I can remember his jokes and telling all three of the girls named Judith in his class to pick a spelling and stay to it. (we had Judy, Judi, Judie, Judee etc.) One of his sayings I have taken with me and use on a regular basis. "If you make an error three times, it's time to finish what you're doing" He was a super person and will be missed. But remember, he touched many lives and will NEVER be forgotten. "Judie" Lavoie Cole
