It's always hard to lose a member of the family even if we haven't seen each other in many years. I remember our family gatherings in Quincy. He was always soft spoken and easy to get along with. It was nice to see that he had such a successful professional and personal life. So sorry to hear of Bill's passing and wish you all condolences.

I worked for Bill at USTrust in the late 1980's and I recall that he was a gentleman and an excellent banker. I never saw him lose his temper and he always had time to offer help and guidance no matter how busy he was. He was a kind, softspoken man. I am sorry to hear about his passing.

Joanie and Shawn, We are so grateful that we were able to enjoy a family get together and dinner with you, Shawn, Bill and our whole family on Thanksgiving weekend. Bill had such a good time and was able to enjoy it. Bill will be missed by everyone but he is at peace and no longer in pain. Joan and Shawn, There are no words sufficient to express my condolences and how we all felt about Bill. He was one of a kind for sure. He was many things - smart, funny, confident - he was the King with his presence but was a big kid at heart. He was the Skipper, and we were his Gilligans. I always looked forward to being assigned to one of his jobs and watching him work his magic with our clients. I learned a lot from him while having lots of laughs in between.
