William Benton, 31, South Dennis

William Benton passed away amongst family and loved ones on July 4, 2024.

William's story began alongside his twin sister, Jasmine Kirby. Though life's path led him to his adoptive family, his bond with Jasmine remained constant. At 10 years old, William found his forever home with Lysa (predeceased) and Greg Benton, joining his adoptive siblings, Jordan, Zackery, and Kyle Benton. While already deeply loved, the official adoption at 14 solidified William's place as a cherished son and brother.

Those who knew William will remember his infectious laugh and humor, his sharp wit, and a heart overflowing with generosity. He was a fighter, someone who wouldn't let obstacles stand in his way. His resilience was an inspiration, a testament to his unwavering spirit.

During his high school years, William found a sense of purpose and camaraderie in the Civil Air Patrol with his brother Zackery. He also shared a close bond with his grandfather, Phillip Benton, who has also passed away.

William's legacy extends far beyond his own life. He leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Aubriella Mary Benton with mother Lauren Nee, and Sophia Jaelle Benton with mother Arriaunna Peckham. William's love wasn't limited by biology. He also leaves behind his significant other, Alyssa Agrela and her three children, Samira West, Amaya West, and Aaliyah Morse whom he embraced as his own.

Though his journey here has ended, the love he shared continues. Etched permanently on his chest, an inscription served as his personal testament: "Death ends a life, not a relationship." These words weren't just ink on skin; they were the very essence of William. He lived a life overflowing with love, friendship, and a profound belief that the bonds we forge endure despite physical separation. Love transcends even death itself.

William's absence leaves a void, but his spirit, his love, and the love we have for him, stays.
