Walter K. "Gator" O'Haire, Of Rockland, formerly of South Boston, May 9, 2007, age 20, while serving his country as a LCPL, U.S. Marine in Iraq. Beloved son of Maureen (Mansfield) & the late Thomas R. O'Haire. Devoted brother of William, Matthew, Amy, Margaret, Thomas Jr., Kevin, Patrick, Kaylea-Rose, Lynasha, & the late Shyheim. Dear grandson of Helen Mansfield & Mary O'Haire. Dear brother-in-law of Ashleigh & Kellie. Cherished uncle of Thomas, Gabriel, Juan & Diamante. Loving godson of Jack "Rippa" Mansfield, Jeanne Morgan & his dear friend DeDe & the late Paul & Lorraine Cavanaugh. Also lovingly survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.

Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, Monday, May 14th from 1-4 & 6-9 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland, on Tuesday, May 15, at 11 AM. The Funeral Procession will leave The Casper Funeral Home in SOUTH BOSTON at 10 AM.

Rockland and surrounding community residents, students, local business owners and staff are encouraged to form along Union street beginning at 10:20 AM on Tuesday to honor LCPL O'Haire and his family as the procession travels north on Union St. from E. Water St. approaching the church.

Interment Services will follow at the Duxbury Cemetery.
