Obituary For Vitena "Tina" Binder

Vitena "Tina" Binder, 96 of Rockland died on May 15, 2015 at the Southwood at Norwell Nursing Center after a long period of failing health. She was born in New Paltz, New York. Daughter of the late Vincenzo and Anna Montalbano and had been a longtime resident of White Plains and Hawthorne, NY. She has made her home in Rockland since 1988.

Tina retired from Wallach's Men's Clothing Stores in New York City where she worked as a cashier and bookkeeper.

Wife of the late Raymond R. Binder and sister of the late Nicholas Montalbano, she is survived by her son Raymond V. Binder of Walpole and his wife Margaret "Peggy" Binder.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland. A Funeral Service will be held at the close of visitation. After cremation, she will be placed in a niche with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
