Obituary For Virginia R. Kirk
Virginia Ruth (Place) Kirk, 70 of Raynham, died on January 25, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was born on October 28, 1947 in Brockton to the late George and Susie "Susan" (Koeppel) Place. Virginia was raised and educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. She was the loving wife of Richard Kirk for 52 years.
Mrs. Kirk was a dedicated homemaker who loved nothing more than spending time with her family whom she loved with all of her heart. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time at her church. She was a member of the Silver City Baptist Church in Taunton and attended the First Baptist Church in Rockland.
Along with her husband Richard, Virginia will be dearly missed by her children James Kirk of KY, Elizabeth "Libby" Ely of PA and Michael Kirk of PA. She was the sister of Robert Place of Whitman and Donna Place of Raynham. She leaves behind three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Virginia's life on Friday February 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Rockland. For more information please visit www.magounbiggins.com
