Condolences

Today, I was sad to learn that my mentor and dear friend Virginia Olson had passed away. When I began teaching in Braintree, Virginia guided my path and encouraged me to take creative risks in teaching history. She was a woman of tremendous intelligence, compassion and grace. In my many years as a teacher, I have to say that I have never met a finer person. I want to express my sincere condolences to Virginia's family, her friends, and the scores of teachers and students who have had the great good fortune to have known and worked with this truly extraordinary woman. - Bob Frazier
