Obituary For Virginia F. Berryman

Virginia F. Berryman, 85 of Rockland died on Tuesday November 25, 2008 at the Coyne Healthcare Center after a period of failing health. She was born in Norwell daughter of the late Francis and Ann (Damon) Hiram and has lived most of her life as a Rockland resident. She was a loving mother and grandmother and devoted all of her time to raising her family. Wife of the late Kenneth S. Berryman, Sr., she is survived by her children, George R. Berryman of Norwood, Elaine E. LaRonde of NC, Charles Berryman of Lakeville, Fred S. Berryman of Plymouth, Diane M. Kieffer of Rockland, Linda A. Vail of Hanson, Thomas B. Berryman of Brockton and Debra G. Sylvia of Rockland. Virginia was also the mother of the late Kenneth S. Berryman, Jr., John R. Berryman, Francis H. Berryman and Scott M. Berryman. Mrs. Berryman leaves three sisters and was the sister-in-law of Elaine Damon. Also surviving are 41 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. A Funeral was held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Rockland. Calling hours were held on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 5-8 PM.
