The last time I was up visiting I remember being in the kitchen when Warren Jr. came in and started to shake hands and I said "no handshakes I need a hug". Vera was so tickled by that. Vera if it wasn't for you i never would have met your wonderful family! Warren, Linda and Kat are 3 of the best people I have ever met, along with the rest of your family.

She's an amazing woman. Vera always had a warm smile and kind word every time I saw her. She had a way about her that made you feel at peace and happy just by being in her presence. So many wonderful memories or her and her family while I was growing up. She will be sorely missed and always remembered.

Vera was my special "Chum" She started calling me that when I was younger. And we called each other that until the last time I saw her. She made me my first and only infamous "doll cake" for my birthday one year. I'll never forget her kindness and love she always showed me.
