I am heartbroken over the loss of Dad. He was the kind of man that you could call Dad, even if you were just one of the neighborhood kids. I have so many great memories, of him scaring the bejesus out of us everytime we had a sleepover (even when we'd come to expect him to scare us), when he helped me out of the tree in the front yard (I was hanging from the lowest branch) and him offering to dance with me for the father/daughter dance at my wedding as my dad had passed a few years before. Tim's kindness and good humor will be missed terribly. Love to you all, Karen.

Auntie Jo and girls, I was very sad to hear about uncle Timmy passing. I have such fond memories of Timmy when we stayed with you on our holidays when I was only 10. Timmy is such a joker and fun loving man, and always had so much time for kids! He always made me laugh, from when I was a child to when I met him as an adult. Timmy had such a talent to make everyone in the room smile. I hope it is comforting to know he will be deeply missed by all who met him. I'm thinking of you all at this time. Love Lyndsay

The Fitzgerald Family- Family is what you all are to me. Even with being so far away you are all in my thoughts and in my heart. My heart breaks that I can not be there with you all and to say good bye to dad. Dad is what he was to all of us girls because he treated us like daughters. I have so many memories of the times we came in way later then we were suppose too and all's he had to do was look at us to know we were caught. Sitting on the back deck with him having a few, while giving us advice on boys and how we didn't need them. Making us laugh and always making us feel so welcome and part of his family. I feel very blessed and privlegded to have been lucky enough to be a part of his family. Love too you all. Missy

I met Tim many years ago when I became involved with the Girl Scouts in Town. He was always so gentle and down to earth in his conversations with me, never patronizing. Like him, I too was an immigrant, but had arrived in the States two years before him. Although he was my senior by only four years, I always felt that he was like my older brother, and that he would be looking out for me. As years went by I would hear once in awhile about him and the family, but never saw him after I moved to the next town; only few miles down the road but felt like a great distance away. May the Lord keep vigil over you, and protect you always. (Tim reached Heaven way before the Devil found out he had left us.)

To the whole Fitzgerald family, I knew your dad ever since me and dee met in holy family school. Not a day goes by that I remeber the times at your home and with your family. He always had a smile on his face and his family was everything to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I am so sorry I wasn't able to make either his wake or funeral, but I did light a candle at a shrine where I live in memory of him. He will always be close to you in your hearts... God Bless you all.. and REST IN PEACE Mr. Fitzgerald..... You found your home now...
