On behalf of the IPA hockey team, we are so sorry for your loss. Tim was our referee for countless late Monday nights in Walpole/Foxboro over the past 15 years. He always took his position serious as well as with a sense of reality, it was old mans hockey after all! He will be greatly missed on Monday nights! Our thoughts are with you.

Franchise was my friend and the best hockey player we had on our team. I am so glad to have had him as a friend even for a small period in my life. I will remember snapshots of him scoring goals. I lift my stick to you my friend and I will look for you in a rink upstairs. marky #2

My thoughts and prayers to the Mann family and any who Tim touched. I went to Quincy High with Tim and also worked with Tim in too many Stop & Shop's to count. Tim could always make me laugh or put a smile on my face. Whether it was telling a joke or talking about a funny story from high school or work , Tim always had me laughing. Tim, you will be greatly missed.

The Flames are not just a hockey team, we are family! We called Tim, Franny, simply because he was our Franchise. Off the ice he was our brother. I cherish all the good times and laughs we shared and I'm sure in that rink upstairs, way up ice we'll see #66 roofing the biscuit. Love you Mann! Tree #3

I am proud to have known Timmy Mann. A great hockey player and a better person. He never let his talent go to his head and he had plenty of it. You always felt good when you were around him because he was just that kind of a guy: genuine, down-to-earth, caring, and understanding. On the Flames, we all knew Timmy was the best and we praised him as such. We had many good players on that team but only one was tagged "the Franchise". It's sad to know that Franny is no longer with us. May God bless him.

I first met Tim when he was 18 years old. Our Men’s hockey team was just starting. His uncle Mark asked if we needed a skater who was a pretty good hockey player. That was an understatement. As good as a hockey player he was, he was an even better person. In 26 years, I’d never heard anyone say a bad word about him. He was everyone’s friend and became a part of all our lives. He joined us on the softball diamond as well. We had a lot of laughs together and now there is a void. Here’s to you 66! I’m a better person for having known you.
