Steven and I were going over a lot because he was very sick but mostly because we truly enjoyed spending time with him and Donna. They all love to pick on me. They say it's because they really like me! Thats what they say! We would have dinner, eat desert, drink beer and laugh. We watched the soxs, while Thomas would point out how most of them stunk. They would try to watch tv but it was hard because I have a hard time not talking! We mostly laughed- we laughed a lot and they welcomed me with open arms! I will never forget Thomas and how kind and sweet he was to me while picking on me at the same time. I have many stories because he made me laugh a lot however my favorite story is when he was in bed at the end. Steven and I came in and he was very weak. Donna said to Tom- Tom Paula brought you cheesecake! He was always teasing me that I never baked for him! So as weak as he was- he open his eyes and said - Did you bake it? I said Yes Thomas I baked the cheesecake! He look at me and said- YOUR FULL OF SH*T!!!!! So I said yes Thomas- I'm full of Sh*t! Even with everything going on he had his sense of humor!!! A little time after that his good friend Tom and another guy from the VFW Post stopped by and Thomas sat up and had a beer with them! What a guy! Thomas- I'm so happy I got to spend time with you- what a gift. I shall never forget you - I love you- God Bless and yes I'm so full of sh*t!!!! love Paula
