Thelma V. Collins 96, of Hanover, MA died on April 14, 2017 at Harbor House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hingham. Thelma was born in Boston, Daughter of the late Herbert and Edna (Allen) Carnes. Thelma was also raised and educated in Boston graduating from Dorchester High School. Mrs. Collins formerly worked for AT&T, and The Southwood at Norwell Nursing Center.

Thelma was the wife of the late Paul Collins, as well as the late Leo Giso. Mother of Robert L. Collins and his Wife Cathy of Scituate and Paul J. Collins of Hanover. Sister of the late Allan A. Carnes. Thelma is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren.

The Collins family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Thelma's life on Tuesday April 18, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. in Rockland. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2017 in the St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church in Hanover. Burial will follow in the Hanover Center Cemetery.
