Thank you, dearest Aunt Thelma, for being such an extraordinarily warm, generous and loving person. It is clear that not only I, but so many others were touched by you and we will keep within us what you so kindly gave. Love and Peace be yours, Karen

The years do not dim the memory of a loving, kind "big sister" who never tired of riding me around on the handlebars of her bike. She taught me to drive, bought me my first horse and never stopped loving me. With this kind spirit for all, she lived her life. Her legacy lives on in the wonderful family she raised and in the hearts of all of us who knew and loved her.

Grandma, We’re going to miss you. You were always the nucleus of this family. When you were well, your gentle manipulations always resulted in your very different kids and their families coming together for happy times; in your home or wherever we happened to meet. In my case, you were certainly one who showed me nothing but kindness and stability (in your own un-stable way). I recently found a book that you bought me in Riley’s book case. I still vividly remember the day you bought it. I was three or four years old and you were taking me to nursery school. I had stayed with you and Grandpa at your house on Spring ST the previous night. As usual, I was throwing a fit because I was afraid to go. We stopped at CVS and you let me get this book to calm me down. Then you read it to me and dropped me off at school. You kept it all these years and gave it to my mom when we had Riley, who then returned it to me. It still has my name in your handwriting and my scribbles on some of the pages. Somehow, 30 years later, and now from beyond the grave, you’re still taking care of us. I’m glad I’ll be able to read this to my kids. Thanks for being an example of how to live a great life!

I've missed you for so long now and wished I could have had one more time to sit down and have a conversation about anything. You were my rock, and example of the kindness people should show others and always gave yourself totally to your family and friends to the point where there was nothing left for yourself. I love you mom and you will be in my prays always. I hope Dave, Donny, Gramma Lou and Gramdpa are all holding you in their arms and showing you all the love and happiness you deserve. Rest in pease lovely lady..........................

Gram...You will be missed more than imaginable. I love you so much. Thank you for everything you did for your family, you gave us memories that we will cherish forever and always. I will play cribbage still, thanks for teaching me...we had so much fun skunking each other. You are so special to me, I will be making Swedish Coffee Bread just like you taught me and always remembering the great times we had (they are too many to count). I Love You Always. -Ash

Uncle Harold, Diane, Danny, Deb and all the family, Growing up, Aunt Thelma made all of my visits to Massachusetts special, whether it was a trip to the beach, Plymouth Rock or getting Uncle Frank or Danny to take us out on their boats, she always tried to take care of everyone. Our visits were always full of food, chaos and laughter, I will cherish those memories forever. With love and sympathy, Sherri
