Sue went on to graduate from Framingham State College with a Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees and became a Registered Dietician. Susan was the ultimate professional and was employed by Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Parkway Div.) and retired from the Federal government (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) where she worked as a nursing home surveyor for 29 years.

She was a devout Catholic and her faith guided her life. Sue attended St. John the Baptist (Quincy) and Holy Family (Rockland) churches.

Sue was a knitter of sweaters, scarves, and afghans and sewed many beautiful quilts for friends, friends of friends, and family. All made with love. Undoubtedly, the recipients of Sue’s craftwork will bring Sue’s memory and love to mind for eternity.

My husband and I met Sue, Ed and Ling on a China National Geographic Tour in 2000. From the moment I met Sue, I knew we'd be great travel mates- she was so enthusiastic, friendly and funny! So sad to hear of her Illness and her passing. Heaven just got a super Angel. With loving thoughts and deep condolences to her entire family and everyone who was blessed to know her.

Sue: I will always have fond memories of growing up with you on Bennington Street. Your Mom and mine drinking ice coffee on the front porch, and hot coffee in each other's kitchens, your Mom driving all of us kids to Wollaston Beach. My Dad letting us run through the hose on hot nights, sledding down the in hill in winter, tricking or treating on Halloween together, Playing hide and seek and capture the flag with every kid in the neighborhood. All the memories we shared growing up on Bennington St. I only have fond memories of those years. To Ed, Dick, Mark, Michael and Polly, and the rest of the Albrecht family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Donna Esau Bains

Dear Sue, You left earth today, heading for your unknown future, guided by your fierce belief in God. You brought with you only your faith, your memories, and your trust in a rich tomorrow.   What you left behind is a world of missing. Each person has encapsulated you into segments of cherished pasts. Each person is holding you in focus, tearing from your too soon departure. Each holds a pedestal in their mind, uplifting you to fit their most tender recollections of your exuberance. Though in life you sat small, in clouds you are magnificent bubbles of dreams, a compilation of the small miracles your created with your love.   Tomorrow you may fade, but some parts will linger, to be reconnected by sights or smells or maybe a whispered sound. Your earthly being dissolves into others' memories. Ellen Levy (Pauline's wife)

My condolences to the Albrecht family , I too remember Susie Q at our house. I feel I grew up with her being the third wheel along with Milly and Sue. One of my funniest memories is when the three of us decided to make homemade donuts from scratch, they were delicious but boy what a mess we made! A person may leave us but we will always have our wonderful memories . Mary Robledo from Sunrise, FL

Dear Pauline and family, I'm so sad Sue passed away. Sue was over our house so much when I was a kid, hanging out, going all around everywhere with my sister Milly. I remember all the trips they took together. I was the tag-a-long being 11 years younger. Sue was always so kind to me. She had the best laugh!! I'm so sorry you lost her so young. She really was a very special person. My mother, Josephine, loves her! Sue was like a 3rd sister to me. May She Rest In Peace. A life well lived. ❤️ Joanie
