💔 Five decades of precious friendship. Susan, my Renaissance friend who was smart, funny, curious, capable, interesting, supportive, caring and kind. A true soul sister. The years we shared Theater, concerts, museums, lectures, travel, bookstores, cocktails, mischief, ...and disco lessons. An elegant hostess, a great cook with an eclectic culinary interest. If life truly is a box of chocolates, you are that gold-foil wrapped piece in the center. Miss you dearly. Nancy

For at least 30 years, Carlo and I spent Saturday nights with Jim and Susan. We went to dances, antique shows or just out to dinner. We had some really good times. Susan and I loved similar things such as antiques, shopping and PBS TV, I thought that Susan was beautiful, intelligent and extremely strong. She showed that when she became president of the Rockland Sons of Italy. I love you Susan and I will miss you. Harriet

My sympathy goes out to Judy and Tom and family! I know how difficult all of this has been on you both! Susan loved you both so much and spoke of all the good you both brought into her life! Susan was definitely one of my best friends! We did a lot together including cruising to Bermuda a couple of times! We did several bus trips together and we loved to go to the Irish Village for weekends! I have so many wonderful memories of our time together! We did crafts together and soon learned Susan was not good with the sewing machine! I think on one craft I had to replace the needle 3times and realized it was easier for us if I did the sewing on the machine. lol We also did basket weaving together! No matter what we did or where we went we shared so many laughs together! Susan felt like a sister to me! Sometimes when we were out together people would ask if we were sisters and said we looked alike! We shared all our ups and downs! We gave each other advice and I always felt good after talking with her and I hope she felt the same. We called each other all the time even while she went through all her struggles medically! We always talked positive and we talked about all the things we still wanted to do together! She may not be able to come with me physically but she will always be with me in my heart no matter where I go! I will miss Susan so much but I am glad she was able to leave this world peacefully and didn't appear to be in any pain! She looked angelic! Susan is a very special woman, an incredible friend and will definitely be missed by all that knew her! Especially ME! God bless you Susan and always know I love you!💕❤️ 🙏

There are just no words to describe the loss of a life-long friend. Four of us walked to school every day from sixth grade through senior year of high school.. We remained in touch even though our lives went in different directions and we ended up living in Florida and California and Massachusetts. We had dinner with Susan last fall and laughed and caught up with each other. We spoke on the phone and texted. Through her illness, Susan impressed me with her positive attitude and ready laugh, typically Susan!! I will miss my friend. I am praying for comfort and peace for Judy and Thom and the family. Susan and Judy and Thom were very close and Susan spoke often of her siblings with love and, yes, pride. We shared so many wonderful memories. I am blessed to have life long friends, not many people have that privilege.
