Steven F. Germain 61, of Rockland, passed away peacefully on September 9th. Steven was born in Boston and educated in Quincy. He was a long time employee of Amtrak and the Mass Bay Commuter Rail. Steven was an avid Boston sports fan, especially basketball which he played most of his life. Steven enjoyed gambling at the casinos and at the track. Steven loved his family and had a special relationship with his youngest special needs sister, Michele. Steven was the son of the late Charles F. Germain and Mona (McLean) Germain and the brother of John Germain and his wife Lynda of Rockland, Anne Foley and her late husband John of Brockton, Phyliss Germain of Rockland, Paul Germain and his wife Kathy of Southington, CT, and the late Michele Germain of Rockland. Steven is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
