Obituary For Stephen R. Batson
Stephen R. Batson, 66 of Abington, died on Sunday December 7, after a period of failing health.
Stephen was raised and educated in Pembroke graduating from Silver Lake High School in 1966.
Mr. Batson worked for several years as a Plastic Extruder at Cri-Tech in Hanover. He also worked as a fabricator for General Dynamics.
Stephen loved to bowl, and was a big sports fan. Stephen especially enjoyed following his favorite team, The New York Yankees.
Stephen was the Husband of Joan (Curtis) Batson of Abington. Father of Michael S. Batson of Abington. Brother of Christopher Batson and his wife Debra. Brother in law of, Gail Prestier and Harry Prestier of Holbrook. Uncle of Heather Batson, Jennifer Batson, and Karyn Prestier-Gatto and her Husband Josias Gatto of Holbrook. Great Uncle of Cody and Dax Gatto of Holbrook. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life from 5-8 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday December 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Abington.
