To the Family of Stella Rogers, I knew, liked and respected Stella as a colleague at Rockland High School even before she married John Rogers after the death of his first wife. I remember our sadness when Theresa died, and how happy we were when Stella and John married. You are all much in my prayers and sympathy. Ellen Donahue

I'm sad to hear of Stella's passing. I was a neighbor of her and John for 25 years. They both lived life to the fullest. Stella always had a smile or a wave. One of the most giving and kindest ladies I knew. Rest in peace Stella with your true love John

My condolences to the Szafran and Roger's family. I'm So sorry for your loss. Stella was a friend during grade school at St. Stanislaus Catholic "Polish" School in Lowell, Massachusetts and throughout Lowell High School. Over the years we stayed in touch and would reminisce about our idyllic childhood. My twin sister Carolyn and I especially enjoyed spending time during the summer at Rock Pond where the Szafran's had a cottage. Stella was smart and fun and a wonderful friend - caring and always upbeat.I will miss our many phone conversations. May she rest in peace. "The other twin" Caroline and husband Walt Szczypinski

Stella was a great friend who dedicated her life to her family, her friends and her adopted home town - Lowell's loss was Rockland's gain. I feel lucky to have known her and she will be missed by all who knew her, and all those she helped through her works.
