Obituary For Sharon Nuby

Sharon A Nuby

04/30/1960-09/24/2021

Sharon A Nuby, 61 of Hanson, MA passed at home with her family present. She was born in Weymouth, MA, the daughter of Althea (Keith) and John Sherrick, raised and educated in Holbrook, MA.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Angelo Nuby, Nicholas and Brittany (Hinkley) Nuby; Nathan and Kathryn (Donnelly) Nuby; and Alexander Nuby. Also survived by eight sisters and brothers; seven nieces and nephews; and two grand nephews. Sharon was a natural leader and regional Underwriter/Analyst for thirty years with Mortgage Guarantee Insurance Company (MGIC) assisting many borrowers with the purchase of their first homes.

Sharon's true love and joy came from her family, friends and special felines. She was so very proud of her sons and present at every special moment, such as sporting events and graduations. Caring for others came naturally for Sharon, whether it be taking special orders for birthday cakes or homemade cookies to share or take back to the dorm. Her loving care made her "boys" into the men they are today. Sharon really enjoyed sewing and made almost every childhood Halloween outfit for each of her sons, herself and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time on weekends with her family and friends playing board games, watching movies or just chatting on the porch.

A sweet, wonderful person with unquestionable inner strength, she never faltered during a long devastating illness. She will always be seen as a giving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. These few words will never fully describe the person or the impact of Sharon's life and our loss. Those closest to her will remember her smile and a lifted eyebrow to express her love.

Services will be private. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.

Dear Angelo, Nick, Nathan and Alex. Am heartbroken to learn of Sharon's passing. Enjoyed seeing her smile and getting to know her as she brought her mom to games during our "bench warming" years. She was so proud of you all. " May her memory be but a blessing."
