Sean M. McGuirk, 58, of Rockland MA, passed away Thursday April 9th, 2026 at South Shore Hospital surrounded by loved ones after a long illness. Sean was born December 14, 1968 in Boston to John and Carol McGuirk.

Sean was employed by Verizon for many years until he decided to change his career to be an EMT for Brewster Ambulance of Brockton. He enjoyed helping people in any way he could during his job and everyday life. His greatest accomplishments were his two boys, Miggy and Michael. Sean could always be seen coaching his boys in every sport. Sean would spend every weekend down at the camp in Plymouth with his family and friends. The camp was his favorite place to be with the boys and his beloved dogs.

Sean was the husband of the late Lisa A. McGuirk and is survived by his two loving and devoted sons, Sean (Miggy) and Michael McGuirk of Rockland, loving sister in law Dianne Shauck and her husband Richard Garro of North Reading. Sean was a beloved uncle to everyone, especially Danny Hutchins, Stephanie Hutchins, Sean Lovell, and Ryan Mofford. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
