Sandra A. (Smith) Ewell, 76 of Abington died on April 11, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. She was born in Weymouth daughter of the late James B. and Dorothea H. (Roberts) Smith and was a graduate of Rockland High School. She has made her home in Abington for more than 50 years.

For Several years Sandra worked at the Goegan Law Offices in Rockland as a secretary. She later partnered with her husband the late Harry L. "Sonny" Ewell with their ice cream and canteen trucks which serviced the South Shore.

She is survived by her sister, Julie M. Bevere and her Husband Anthony of Rockland, a niece Suzanne Baker and a nephew Kenneth Baker. The family welcomes loved ones and friends to celebrate her life on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 9:00AM. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
