Obituary For Ruth Justiniano

Ruth Marion Justiniano, 86; a long time resident of Rockland, MA and formerly of Monponsett, MA passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Monday, February 21, 2022. Ruth is now resting comfortably in heaven free from pain with her predeceased parents Harry and Minnie Martin as well a her sister Beverly Costa and her husband George, her brother Harry Martin, her sister Mildred Angie and her husband William, her sister Margie Baker, and her twin brother Ralph “Buddy” Martin. Born on August 30, 1935, Ruth was the daughter the late Harry A. and Minnie Martin (Skillings) and grew up in Monponsett, MA. She was educated in the towns of Halifax and Hanson, MA. She loved children so much that she became a bus driver for both the Whitman-Hanson School System and Dove’s nest. The smiles on the children’s faces brought her so much joy. Ruth was an avid country music fan and lifetime active member of the Massachusetts Country Music Association. A favorite expression of hers was “You can take Ruth out of the country but you can’t take the country out of Ruth”. She enjoyed hours of entertainment at country Jamborees. Ruth also had several hobbies that she loved. A few of her favorites were gardening, couponing, socializing, hanging out watching her favorite tv shows and her most treasured was spending time with her family and friends. Her door was always open and her gentle nature had no limits. She saw the good in everyone and would take her shirt off her back for anyone in need. Ruth was a big fan of astrology and was proud of her Virgo spirit as well as her “dust collectors”. She had several trunk up elephants and Dalmatian statues throughout her home. She never had the opportunity to have her very own Dalmatian so she filled her home with all sorts of Dalmatian statues and stuffed animal decor. Family was Ruth’s ultimate joy. She continued to put her family first even when her health started to decline. She never missed a family function and enjoyed the time she had to the best of her ability. Even in her pain she would say “it is what it is” and continue to be her joyous self that we all knew and loved. She will be remembered and loved through all the cherished memories that her family and friends have of her. May her amazing life be talked about for the years to come. We love you forever and always with all our hearts until we meet again xoxo. Ruth loved her family with all her heart and is survived by her adoring family; her three children, Melody J. Traynor of Whitman, MA, Ricardo G. Justiniano of Rockland, MA and Jon D. Justiniano of Rockland, MA; her grandchildren, Rachel Clancy, Monique Schlieff, Jessica Justiniano, Minnie Traynor, William Traynor and his wife Jaclyn Traynor. She is also the beloved great-grandmother of Jade Clancy, Alyssa Schlieff, Kyle Schlieff, Alexandra Traynor, Kasaundra Justiniano, Micaela Coyne and William Traynor and two great great grand-daughters Ava and Riley Rose. She is also survived by her late twin brother’s wife Adeline Martin and had many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. Please join us to celebrate the life of Ruth M. Justiniano, Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 1st at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Union St. in Rockland, MA from 5pm - 8pm.
