Ruth C. (Landers) Moynihan, 94, of Rockland and formerly of Dorchester, died on Friday September 20, 2019 in The Webster Park Nursing Facility in Rockland. She was born in Boston Daughter of the late John and Katherine (Gunning) Landers. She was raised and educated in Dorchester graduating from Jerimiah Burke High School in 1942. Ruth worked at Building 19 in Hingham for many years.

Mother of Maureen C. Harrington and her Husband Paul of Falmouth, the late Kathleen Moynihan, and Dennis Moynihan and his Wife Demetra of Mansfield. Sister of the late Jeanne Landers. Grandmother of Paul G. Harrington Jr., Jenna Bellec, Shawn Harrington, Brian Harrington, Jeffrey Moynihan and Matthew Moynihan. Also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.

The Moynihan Family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Ruth's life on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home at 135 Union Street, Rockland, MA 02370. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at The Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
