Ruth Anne (Jurevitch) O’Donnell passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born in Brookline and raised in Dorchester, MA, Ruth was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Vivian Jurevitch. She graduated from South Boston High School and continued her education at Boston Business School. She last worked at the Marriott before dedicating herself to being a stay-at-home mom.

Ruth is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Michael O’Donnell, and her cherished daughter, Jessica O’Donnell of Abington. She was a loving sister to Joan Thureson, Carole Jamieson, Vivian Butts, Linda King, and Edward Jurevitch. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ruth’s life at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland, MA on Monday, March 10 from 4 - 7 PM. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 11 at 10AM with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.

Ruth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
