Ruth A. Gould passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019. She was predeceased by her husband John and her son Jay. Ruth was known for her crocheting, baked goods and card playing. She was an amazing Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a sort of surrogate Nana to many children who passed through her daughter-in-law's daycare over the years. They provided her with much joy and laughter, and she really looked forward to her morning visits with them. Ruth loved strong hugs, strong coffee, and her family whole heartedly. She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Lynda Gould, her grandchildren Sheila Longchamps of Sandown, NH, Kristin Callahan of Havelock, NC and Debra Ruth Gould of Baltimore MD, with whom she shared a very special bond. She also leaves 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and her cousin Ethel Miller as well as many friends. A memorial funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 30th at Holy Family Church in Rockland, MA At 9 am, followed by burial at Holy Family cemetery in Rockland, MA.
