Obituary For Rosemarie A. Wyllie
Rosemarie A” Rosie” Wyllie (O’Brien) 79, of Rockland, formerly of Dorchester passed peacefully on October 29 at South Shore Hospital with her family at her side. Rosie was born on September 25, 1945 to the late John J. O’Brien and Rosemarie O’Sullivan.
She was a graduate of the Jeremiah E. Burke High School and was also Captain of the St. Peter’s Drill Team.
Rosie was a former employee of the Chilton Club and the Carney & Milton Hospitals.
Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and teaching them how to bake, cook and having dance parties while cooking with them. She enjoyed reading a good book and listening to the “oldies but goodies”.
Rosie was predeceased by her husband James D. Wyllie.
Rosie was the loving mother of Deborah of Rockland, James of Belchertown & Brian and his wife Betsy of Rockland. She leaves behind her grandchildren Hannah, Jake, Brendan, Kate, Olivia, & Christian.
She is survived by her two sisters Joanne O’Brien of Marshfield & Meg Leach of San Diego. Rosemarie was predeceased by her brother Jack O’Brien and her sister Maureen Killelea.
The family would like to thank the staff of the All American Assisted Living in Hanson, MA for the wonderful care and making her feel welcomed.
We would also like to thank the staff at South Shore Hospital Emerson 5, for the exceptional care and comfort they provided to our mother.
