Obituary For Rosanna Dwyer (Murphy)
Rosanna Dwyer (Murphy), age 80, of Abington, MA, died peacefully at home on December 21, 2015. She was the wife of the late Richard Dwyer. Rosanna was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend. Her lifelong intellectual curiosity was matched by her many artistic talents, including photography. She was an art teacher, a volunteer and a helping hand to those in need. Rosanna and Richard loved to travel, enjoying trips to Ireland and Alaska, in particular. In June, Rosanna and her dear friend, Joanie Doscher, cruised and laughed their way to Quebec City. Rosanna had many lifelong friends, nicknamed "Club" who shared adventures, celebrated life's many joys and supported each other in times of sadness. Rosanna is survived by her children: Carol Dwyer of Montague, MA; Kathy Dwyer of Abington; Amy Dwyer-Barao and her husband Tom of Hingham; Sean Dwyer of Abington; the late Patrick Dwyer of FLA and his wife, Michelle; and Dan and Deirdre Dwyer of Abington. Rosanna has many loving grandchildren: Will and Declan Barao of Hingham; Owen, Ryan and Emma Dwyer of Abington; and Kelly and Katie Dwyer of FLA. Rosanna's family would like to invite family and friends to join them at a Funeral Mass, which will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Bridget Church in Abington, MA. A gathering will follow. The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home of Rockland, MA. is honored to be assisting the family.
