Obituary For Roberta M. Lipsitz

Roberta Marcia Lipsitz, 64, of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024. She was a beloved partner, daughter, sister, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.

She is predeceased by her parents the late Isadore (Irving) and Ruth Lipsitz of Brockton, MA.

Roberta’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.

We considered her a “Foodie”…she loved going out to eat and watching cooking videos from all over the world. She enjoyed going on cruises, hitting the slot machines at the casino and watching sports (baseball & football). On many summer days you would find Roberta at Nantasket…she loved the beach.

She was such a loving, caring and generous person, always concerned about how others were feeling. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.

Roberta is survived by her domestic partner Steve Arria, her brother Stewart Lipsitz, his wife Becky Lipsitz, and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street in Rockland, MA on Monday, March 25th at 11:00 followed by interment at Spring Lake Cemetery, 60 Prospect Street in Rockland, MA.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Roberta’s name to the Joselin Diabetes Center, Office of Philanthropy, 529 Main Street, 4th Floor, Charleston, MA 02129; https://www.joslin.org/givingor a charity of your choice.
