Obituary For Robert W. Delorey

Robert W. Delorey, 77 of Rockland, died on June 15, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was born in Weymouth son of the late Alfred and Nora (McEnelly) Delorey and was raised and educated in Braintree. Mr. Delorey later moved to Rockland where he would make his home for many years. He worked for 25 years at the Rockland Jr. High School as a custodian. Robert was proud to be a member of the Rockland Aerie of Eagles #841 for over fifty years. Robert is the Husband of the late Mary E. (Shepherd) Delorey. Father of Joanne Bollin of Rockland and Robert W. Delorey Jr. Sister of Claire Whitten of Falmouth. Grandfather of Brian A. Bollin of Rockland and Tracy M. Bollin of Rockland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Delorey family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Roberts’ life on Friday June 18, 2010 from 5-8 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Saturday June 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in the Holy Family Cemetery.
