Robert Warren Turpel, age 93, of Abington, passed away peacefully at his home on June 23,2022. He was born on December 6, 1928 in Holbrook Ma. He was the son of Albert W. Turpel and Mildred (Gay) Turpel. He was raised and educated in Rockland, where he graduated from Rockland High School. He then went to college and graduated from New England School of Art. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Yazoo. After his honorable discharge, he met the love of his life and soulmate, Barbara Boehner Turpel. They married and spent every minute together until her death in August 2019.

Robert worked as a graphic designer at Cole Hersey of Boston for over 35 years. Robert and his wife loved to travel the world, especially to Bermuda. They had friends all over the world, where their friendships lasted forever. They owned a second home in Brooksville Florida, where they enjoyed the winters.

Robert and his wife also had a special love for animals, especially their own cats and dogs. Robert was the brother of the late Albert W. Turpel of Brockton. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
