Obituary For Robert S. Burrill
Robert S. Burrill, 85 of Rockland died at the South Shore Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Facility in Rockland on October 14, 2012. He was born in Weymouth, the son of the late John and Edith (Roberts) Burrill, and was raised and educated in Rockland. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS Fall River. Mr. Burrill worked for many years as a Maintenance Machinist at the HH Arnold Company in Rockland, as well as The American Sandpaper Co. in Rockland and Triangle Engineering. Robert was a member of the Rockland Eagles Club. He enjoyed camping, cribbage, and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived his three children, Robert E. Burrill of Whitman, Daniel J. Burrill of Rockland, and Ann J. Gardner of Rockland. Brother of Dorothy Cushing of NH, Charlotte Reynolds of VA, and the late Fred Burrill. Also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The Burrill family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Roberts life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday October 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the services in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.

My deepest and sincerest sympathys gooing out to Bobs family in their time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of being Bobs main caregiver at the south shore rehab center and loved him as if he were my own family.I will keep Bob in my heart and remember him often and with a smile. RIP my dear friend.
