Robert (Bobby) Manning Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home on June 30, 2024.

Bobby was born at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, MA and grew up in Hanover, MA.

Ever since he was little, he had a love for cars, especially Mustangs. He grew up with a passion for working on his very own 87 Fox Body Mustang and of course his 03 Black Cobra Mustang. Constantly updating his Cobra and going to all the car shows.

Along with his passion for cars, Bobby had so much love for his friends. You all made such a huge impact on his life. Although the last few years he distanced himself from so many of you, he spoke of all of you often and watched your lives through social media. In the end he could not win the battle and his demons got the best of him. We live in solace knowing that his demons have been put to rest and he can finally be at peace.

A son, brother, and friend. “Your departure from this world may be sudden, but your love will forever remain.”

Bobby is survived by his parents, Cheryl Merritt, of Hanover and Robert Manning, of Rockland, his sister Melissa Rowan, her husband Paul Rowan and niece Shayla Marjorie Rowan of Hanson, his grandparents Charles (Butchie) Merritt and Maria Merritt, of Lady Lake, Fl, his fur babies Jules, Tuukka and his favorite visitor Jazzy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
