Condolences

I recently learned of Bob's passing from my sister Robin and want first to express my condolences to Bob's entire family. The loss must be enormous. It has been nearly 20 years since I've seen any of the Hannigans but the memory and warm impressions of Bob and Katie never faded, not one iota. I remember Bob and Katie from my visits to Scituate, where people went to relax, laugh with friends and neighbors, and demonstrate the love and mutual support that reflects real friendship. Bob was a warm, friendly, supportive man who never had an unkind word about anyone. I looked up to him and the fact that my impression of him is still vivid is testimony enough to his character and his sincerity and the mark he left on people. Bless you, sir. I wish you peace and joy and also to your family.

The beaches of Scituate will always echo that deep and hardy laughter that Bob so willingly shared with the world. We'll always remember our games of Uno late into the night we so enjoyed with Bob and Katie on summer nights. You adopted us into your extended family and we will always treasure those memories. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you as you share your beloved husband, father, and grandfather with the Lord in Heaven. God Bless.

We will miss him. I will miss hearing "dynamite" and of course the laugh. He left 6 great "kids" to carry on. I hope the wonderful memories will carry you all through during this tough time. You are all in our prayers. PS I will dedicate my tomatoes this year to Uncle Bob and think of him whenever I work on them. DYNAMITE!!
