Carol, Heather, Seth, & Family, Although we only knew Bob for a short while. Bob's memory will last a life time. He was one of the "realest" people, we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Bob was a very friendly and witty man. I seen the tears run down his face when he walked Heather down the aisle. That is all I needed to see to tell me what kind of man he was. We are thankful to him for taking Seth into his heart and home and loving him like he was his own son. There are no words to express the depth of our sorrow. We will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you the comfort, strength, and peace that you all need to get through this time. We are but a phone call away if you need us. Much love, Lorraine & Steve

Robert Maines is my grandfather, and, although I never really knew him, he was always in my heart. My mother loved him a great deal, and so did my Aunt Sheri. I only met him two or three times in my life, but the times that I did spend with him were quite fun. I only wish I had gotten to know him better than I know him now. I am extremely sorry for everyones loss; he was a great man.

Carol and family, I amso sorry for your loss. I did not know Bob personally but after working with Carol as these years, I feel I knew Bob very well. CArol always told me how generous Bob was with his time and always ready to lend a hand. I know he will be greatly missed by all of you. In time you will be able to reminisce and remember all the wonderful times you had together.

Growing up with Heather means I also grew up with the Maines family. Carol and Bob were like a second set of parents. Bob coached our softball team, and made the meanest burgers I've still ever tasted. May you rest in peace knowing that you live on in the impressions you've made and the love you've shared.
