Robert L. Kamel,"Grampy," 73, of Rockland, died on Thursday May 7, 2020. Robert was born in Readville, Son of the late George Kamel and Sandria Campbell. Robert was the beloved Husband of Joanne Kamel of Rockland. Father of Jennifer Kamel of Rockland. Grandfather (Grampy) of, Alex Mejia, Jendry Mejia, Johnathan Oliveira, Ryan Otis and his Wife Joy, Cassidy Dunbar, Cameron Dunbar, Catrina Dunbar Colin Dunbar and Connor Dunbar. Brother of, Lorna Tassi and late Sandria Kamel and the late Richard Kamel. Uncle of, Sandria Colantuoni, Lorna Jean Harper, Eric Junkins, Darlene Kamel, Denise Kamel, Debra Pereira, Laura Auburn, Linda SanGiacomo and Lisa Scollins. Step Father of Kimberly Otis, Richard Otis-Dunbar. Great Grandfather of, Brady Otis, Arianna Otis, Alana Sky Dunbar, Brandon Dunbar and Shane Dunbar. Robert loved spending time with his grandchildren and going to the beach with his wife also going out and hanging with his best friend John Keegan. Due to COVID-19 public health guidance, services will be private.

    Grampy you were so much more to me than a grandfather you were my father figure. You taught me so much growing up and helped me out of alot of tough situations when I was younger. I think about you every day. I miss you so much, Joy, Brady, and Arianna miss you so much too. I know you're watching over all of us. And I know you would be proud of the men me, Alex, and Jendry have become. There's days I wish I can pick up the phone and call you. For your advice or to tell you what I've accomplished.
