I knew "Robbie" as my friend Marcia's younger brother when we were in High School. Holding thoughts of sympathy and comfort for the Hyland Family.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I was a classmate of Bob's at Hanover High School, and remember him well — a super-nice guy. But beyond that, at our 40th reunion, he said something so profound to me — he came and sat down next to me, and told me that so many years before, that I had influenced his life, by things I'd said and thought at the time, which he said exposed him to a different way of looking at things. I've never forgotten that. I thanked him at the time, and I'm deeply saddened I won't be able to thank him again. May Bob rest in peace, and may God grace his friends and loved ones with joy at the memories I'm sure they all have for Bob. See you on the other side, Brother. — Rudy Winston Hanover High School, class of 1974
