Obituary For Robert Arthur Fulton

Robert "Bob" Arthur Fulton, 60 of Brockton, died on Friday March 30, 2018 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was born on October 26, 1957 in Weymouth to the late Ronald and Doris (Hall) Fulton. Bob was raised and educated in Abington and was a part of the 1975 graduating class at Abington High School.

Mr. Fulton had been a past member of the South Shore Harley Owners Group and the Town River Yacht Club in Quincy.

Bob loved working as a heavy equipment mechanic at Callahan Inc. in Bridgewater. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. Spending time with his neighbors and having breakfast with his friends meant the world to Bob. He was a loving family man and never batted an eye when it came to helping others.

He was the loving husband of Lori (Poirier) Fulton of Brockton. Bob leaves behind his daughter Julie Fulton of Brockton. He was the brother of Paul and his wife Daniela Fulton of Brockton and James Fulton of Abington. Several nieces and nephews will dearly miss him.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life on Friday April 6, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. Donations in Bob's name can be made to the Heart Brothers Foundation (www.heartbrothers.org).

That's a great picture of Bob. Reminds me how much I loved listening to him tell stories with that great smile. I think of how he would shake his head back and forth while telling the story, somewhat amazed and very amused by the details himself. Then he'd break out into a terrific laugh as the story ended on some crazy antic, minor injury or simple act of lunacy by Jimmy, Paul or sometimes one of us knucklehead neighbors. Thanks for the wonderful memories Bob.

We are sorry to hear about Bob. It was not that long ago children, including Kinsey & Ben, were looking forward to going to your home after school. He opened his home and heart to those children. We cant thank you enough. The three of you fought hard. You are in our thoughts.
