Obituary For Richard Ledoux

Richard Ledoux of Brockton, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023.
Rich was born in Framingham, MA and grew up in Northborough, MA. Shortly after graduating from Algonquin Regional High School in 1979, he enlisted in the US Navy, where he proudly served for 8 years, working as an electronic warfare technician.
During his time in the Navy, he met the love of his life. They married in 1987 and decided to start a family soon after.
Rich became an electrical engineer at Russelectric-Siemens, where he built an impressive career, working there for over 36 years. He was a respected mentor to his co-workers, and built many life-long friendships during his time there.
Rich loved and cared with all his heart, always putting family first. When he wasn't working, he spent all of his time being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He had a passion for classic music, reading, family vacations, and Boston sports, particularly the New England Patriots.
Rich is survived by his wife, Kim (Lounsbury) Ledoux; his son, Andrew Ledoux and wife, Kourtney Ledoux; his son, Joe Ledoux; Papa to Luca and Riley Ledoux. He is pre-deceased by his son, Matthew Ledoux.
He is also survived by his parents, Richard Sr. and Lana Ledoux; his siblings and their spouses, Cindy and Jeff Peters, Kim and Roland Bonneau, Brian and Kim Ledoux, and Keith and Beth Ledoux; his mother-in-law, Shirley Lounsbury, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Rich leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, devotion and hard work, and will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, and countless others.
A celebration of Rich's life will take place at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland on Wednesday, November 1 from 5 PM to 8 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church in Rockland on Thursday, November 2, at 9 AM. He will be laid to rest at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland, followed by a celebration of his life at Rockland Golf Course.
