Dearest Maureen and Carol, I am so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I know how very special your bond was as you shared your home together. Your dad was very special to me during our years at McKinley School. I always knew he was looking out for the well-being of all the kids. I loved the way he spoke, and I loved his sense of humor.

Maureen, I was so glad you and I could reconnect at our reunion two years ago. May God bless you with comfort as you cherish the memories of your dad. "Well done, good and faithful servant."

    Dear Maureen and Carol,
So very sorry to hear about your dad. So happy we all ended up together in Florida. He was a special member of our Westchester family. We especially enjoyed our Boston connections. He was always ready for a cup of Tom's chowder. Please accept our sympathy.

From growing up in my childhood neighborhood, to having him as our janitor in elementary school, to seeing him for years as our customer and friend at Martin's Restaurant, Dickie was one of the kindest men I have ever known. In all those years, I never saw him without a smile on his face and his wonderful personality always beaming through like a constant ray of sunlight. He will be sorely missed. Sending along love and condolences to the entire Walls family.

Maureen and family, Sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He was a great guy, always smiling, like all of the Walls family. He graduated with my Mom so his name would come up from time to time. He would always talk to me when I was a little kid at basketball games and school. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

A great guy, a friend to all, always greeted you with a smile, a damn good athlete, a walking sport's encyclopedia, he owned "the barn," God bless you and your family, Dickie.
