Richard C. Peuser, of Rockland May 7, 2006, Age 72. Husband of Dianne S. (Spurling)Peuser. Father of Cindy P. Taglini and her husband John Taglini of Halifax, and David M. Peuser and his wife Kathryn M. Peuser of Rockland. Brother of Gerald Peuser of FLA. Grandfather of John R. Taglini, Kim A. Hopkins, Ryan D Peuser, Devin S. Peuser, Ian C. Peuser and Great Grandfather of C.J. Hopkins. Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, May 11th at 11:00 AM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. Calling hours were on Wednesday, May 10th from 4-7 PM Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 115 West Chestnut St Brockton MA 02401. Richard died at his home in Rockland Sunday after a period of failing health. He was born in Scranton PA son of the late William and Agnes Peuser. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in New York in 1951. After graduating High School Richard went to school at Casey Jones Aeronautical Academy in Flushing New York. After graduating from Casey Jones, Mr. Peuser went to work as a Maintenance Supervisor for Trans World Airlines where he would work for the next 37 years. Richard eventually retired from TWA in 1990. Mr. Peuser was also an amateur pilot. He owned his own Cessna 172 which he often flew out of Marshfield Airport. Richard loved to make various types of model airplanes in his spare time, he also loved to bowl at the Westgate Lanes in Brockton, and water ski on Stetson Pond in Pembroke. Richard was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan. Rev. Kristy Coburn will conduct the Funeral Service. Burial will be private.
