Raymond R. Binder, 89 of Rockland died on October 29, 2007 after a period of failing health. He was born in Germany, son of the late Raymond and Katherine (Hausbacher) Binder and was raised and educated there and in New York. Mr. Binder was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He retired in 1980 after a lengthy career as a project manager with the York Corporation in New York City. He has made his home in Rockland since 1988. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vitena (Montalbano) Binder and a son, Raymond V. Binder of Walpole. A funeral service was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Thursday, November 1st at 7:00 PM. Visiting was held from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
