When I think of Phyllis, her zest for life always comes to mind first. Always ready to dance and always ready with a smile, Phyllis knew how to enjoy her time with those she loved. I'll never forget her added blessing of our food one Thanksgiving after grace was said. Or getting into our swimsuits to head out to the beach. Or her wish for me and my husband on my wedding day. She took pleasure in what was around her, and this is part of how I've learned to love life, too. Rub a dub dub, thanks for the love, Phyllis!

Dear Family of Phyllis Johnson, As part of the Lifecare family, we became acquainted and shared and supported one another in the sorrow and challenges of our Moms' declining health. Be comforted in knowing that she's at peace ... truly an angel of the Lord. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Affectionately, "Cookie"

Nana, I am going to miss all the fun times we had together. You have brought so much joy and happiness and laughter to all. I feel so very fortunate to have had you in my life. I will cherish all of those great memories. I am happy you are at peace and free from your suffering. I will always remember your little "whitty sayings" and "silly ways" but also how strong and independent of a person you were. You lived your life on your own terms. I admire you so much for that. I am so lucky to have had such an amazing grandmother and you will live on in my heart forever.Love You Always- Colleen

I will always fondly remember those Saturday afternoons in Phyllis's dining room in Hanover. Port wine and cheese all around! I learned how to laugh with a light-hearted attitude . Without ever realizing it, Phyllis taught me a few life lessons along the way too. I'm grateful that I had the chance to recall all this with her, years later as we spent time together in Florida. She will be forever loved! Valerie Gibson Barker
