Phyllis A. (Kearns) Mahoney, 85 of Franklin. Died on February 19, 2019 at the Webster Park Nursing Facility in Rockland. She was born on March 26, 1933 in Arlington to the late Martin and Gladys (Tolman) Kearns. Phyllis was raised and educated in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel Mahoney.

Mrs. Mahoney worked as an Executive Assistant to the Dean of Harvard University. She enjoyed spending her time traveling with her late husband. Phyllis was an avid reader who loved spending time with her family.

Phyllis was the loving step mother of Cynthia A. Schlager and her husband Brian of Rockland, Linda J. Muffeletto of Pembroke Steven J. Mahoney of NH and William S. Mahoney of Bourne. She was the sister of the late Paul Kearns, Richard Kearns and Phillip Kearns. Phyllis leaves behind seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Friday February 22, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
