To Ruth and family, even though I just met you recently, I wish I could have talked to Philip before he passed. We should get together when you feel up to it and talk.

I will always love my brother for helping me to grow up. To take an interest in living or life. I felt he helped me to grow up. I grew up liking music. I was active in life 's activities. My brother made me a responsible person. And I will always remember the sense of values: of Family. I hold my family close; I hold my Harrington family close. God Bless You , Buddy, I will always Miss you. I love you...

My mom always spoke so highly of her brother Buddy. I never had the chance to meet him in person. I've talked to him over the phone and listened to stories about him from my mom and sister. I'm saddened and humbled by this tragic event. I hope my mom can remember the good times. I don't think anyone was expecting this so soon. Rest in peace Uncle Buddy.

This is so hard for me, Uncle Buddy, was realistic and said what was on his mind. I admired that, in him. and so did my sister Marjorie Harrington, his other niece. The protective side, he had for my mother, by doing what he could to help his sister, Janet Harrington, I remember the years and bondness Uncle Buddy had with my mother. My mother is deeply hurt, that he is gone. I know in my heart, his spirit will forever live inside our hearts. MY daughter Kassandra had him wrapped around his finger, she adored him and never forgot him and she was 3 when Uncle Buddy met her. She is 5 now. He bragged about her alot, and it warmed my heart that my daughter warmed his. I told her that his spirit can see her, anytime he wants. She even found a stuffed dog toy, that was like Uncle Buddy's dog "BooKu". She talked about the trip we made almost two years ago, when we stayed at his home in New Hampshire. He had a talent for building and was very proud of his work, especially that house we stayed in. I will miss him so much, and cannot believe he is not on earth anymore, but now he is at peace and not in pain. He is having a good time in heaven with my dad, his brother, Ronnie, his dad and mom. I salute my uncle for his sacrifice he made to this country. He served his country well. I am so proud to be apart of my family, that sacrificed their life, to keep me safe and free. I LOVE YOU UNCLE BUDDY! Thank you for the memories, see you in heaven, when it is time for me. Love always and forever. Janey (Little Janet)
