Dad you were a wonderful person a loving husband, father and a friend to many. You always had a bright side to what most of us would have found depressing or things just not going right. Your faith in God was true and in your country honorable and strong. Thank you for all you have taught me, I hope to live to your high standards. You are the best.

Phil was always a bright spot in my day. He was a true gentleman with a great smile and a kind word. Although he and I haven't crossed paths in quite a while, I was saddened to hear of his passing and wish Anna and his children peace in the coming days. He will be missed. Kimberly Phelps Nelson

I am a parishioner of Holy Family Church and would see Phil each and every Sunday at Mass and I would shake his hand as I headed up to communion, and as I watched him, he was becoming frail and needed oxygen, but again, his faith kept him coming to Mass with friends and neighbors who brought him each week. I was sad to hear of his passing. Phil, may you rest in peace!

To the Hawco/Bigger family. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Phil was a wonderful man and a friend to everyone. I have so many memories of him, but one of my favorites goes back to dancing school. The girls couldn't go on stage without a kiss from Phil before he pulled the curtain. Kisses to you Phil. Love Karen (Pinel) McCarthy

Gramps will be missed. He had a keen sense of humor, a loveable laugh. He was my first introduction to the Boston Red Sox. Gave me their sweatshirt I wore for years. I'll remember his unshaven kisses, the sound of his voice, and how he made me smile. Luv u Gramps! Melanie Salin Kilcorse
